Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days to change your mind

You can withdraw from your order within 14 days of the pair arriving, and you do not have to give a reason. If the order came in more than one parcel, the 14 days start on the day the last one arrived.

Sending the form on this page is your withdrawal declaration. It takes effect the moment you send it, not when we answer. An email to info@paarline.com with your order number does the same job, and so does the model form near the bottom of this page.

The right comes from Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code, which implements EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

You are withdrawing from a contract with Paarline B.V., trading as RapidSneakers, Kiotoweg 70, 3047 BG Rotterdam, Netherlands. KvK 42111729, VAT NL869784067B01.

As shown in your order confirmation, for example #1001.

The email address you ordered with. We send a copy of your withdrawal there.

Leave this empty to withdraw from the whole order.

We confirm every withdrawal by email, normally the same working day, quoting what you sent and the date and time it reached us. We answer by email on working days with the return address and what happens next. Your details are used to handle the return and nothing else; see the privacy policy.

1. Tell us

Send the form on this page, or email info@paarline.com with your order number. Any clear statement counts. You do not need our permission or a return number, and a notice sent on the fourteenth day is still on time.

2. Post the pair back

You then have another 14 days to send the shoes to RapidSneakers returns, Paarline B.V., Kiotoweg 70, 3047 BG Rotterdam, with the order number in or on the parcel. Posting inside those 14 days is enough; they do not have to have arrived. You pay that postage unless the pair is faulty or not what you ordered: about €7 to €9 within the Netherlands and roughly €15 to €40 from other EU countries for a tracked parcel. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt: if the pair never reaches us and you cannot show that you posted it, there is no refund.

3. Money back

Your refund follows within 14 days of the notice, to the card or account you paid with. We may hold it until the pair reaches us or you show proof of postage, which is what clause 7 of the refund policy sets out. There is no fee for handling a refund.

Indoors, on a clean floor, over socks, the way you would in a shop. Handling them enough to work out whether they fit never costs you anything.

Wear on the outsole, creasing across the upper, scuffs, marks or odour, or a missing insole, lace or box, all leave the pair worth less than it was, and that loss comes off the refund. When we make a deduction we tell you the amount, the reason, and we send photographs.

The price of the pairs, plus the standard delivery charge you paid on the way out. If you picked a faster or dearer delivery option, we refund the standard rate for your country.

Sending back part of an order is fine. If what you keep falls below the level that earned a discount, we recalculate the order at the price that would actually have applied and the difference comes off the refund. For example, two €50 pairs cost €95; return one and you get €45 back. A faulty pair or a size swap keeps the discount, and if you send the whole order back you get everything you paid.

You are not obliged to use this wording, but you may. Copy it into an email or a letter and send it to us.

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods:

Ordered on / received on:
Order number:
Name of consumer:
Address of consumer:
Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper):
Date:

That is a different route, and a longer one. Email info@paarline.com with your order number and a photo of the problem. We repair, replace or refund, and we pay the postage both ways.

Under Dutch law a defect that appears in the first year after delivery is presumed to have been there on delivery, unless we can show otherwise. Reporting within two months of noticing is always in time. Normal wear is not a defect; sneakers worn daily will show it.
