Every order leaves our warehouse in Rotterdam. We deliver to 29 countries: all 27 member states of the European Union, plus Norway and Switzerland. Orders are picked and packed on working days, and you get a tracking link by email when your parcel leaves us.

What shipping costs

Delivery is free to all 27 countries of the European Union, with no minimum order. One pair ships free, the same as five.

Standard delivery to Norway and Switzerland is a flat €20 per order, whatever it is worth, and that never drops to free. Those parcels are customs shipments: declared, cleared and carried on an export service, which is what the carrier charges us. Import charges are separate, and the next section explains them.

Express delivery is also offered at checkout, at €10 within the EU and €30 to Norway and Switzerland. It is not available to Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Malta or Sweden.

Ordering from Norway or Switzerland? Read this first.

Import charges are yours. Your parcel crosses a customs border. Import VAT, any duty and the carrier's clearance or declaration fee are charged to you on delivery, by the carrier or by customs. We never receive that money, we cannot prepay it, and we cannot refund it.

Norway. We are not registered for VOEC, so the carrier collects 25% Norwegian import VAT plus its own clearance fee, at least NOK 206, at the door. Your right to withdraw under the angrerettlova applies in full: you pay the return postage, we refund the delivery charge you paid us at our standard Norway rate, and we deduct nothing else beyond any loss in value. If you withdraw, you reclaim the import VAT from Tolletaten and we will send you the export documents you need.

Switzerland. Swiss import VAT is 8.1% and is waived when the calculated tax comes to CHF 5 or less, so a single pair sent by standard delivery usually clears without import VAT, though the carrier may still charge a handling fee. Larger orders and express parcels pay the 8.1% plus the carrier's clearance charge, at least CHF 26.50.

Returns from Switzerland. Swiss law gives no automatic right to cancel an online order. We give you one anyway, by contract: 14 days, on the same terms as in the EU. You pay the return postage, and we refund the delivery charge you paid us at our standard Switzerland rate. Beyond what clauses 1 to 11 of the refund policy allow, we deduct one thing: any clearance or handling fee the carrier bills us for the return parcel, shown on your credit note with the carrier's invoice reference. The full clause is clause 12 of our refund policy.

Where we do not deliver

We do not ship to the United Kingdom. Slazenger footwear is handled in the UK by a different licensee, so orders to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not something we can take, and the same goes for Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

A few places attached to countries we do serve are outside our delivery area too: the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla in Spain, the Aland Islands in Finland, the French overseas departments and territories, the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

If your address is not in one of the 29 countries, the checkout will not offer a delivery method for it. We cannot ship to a PO box or a poste restante address.

Prices and VAT

Prices include VAT and are the same in all 29 countries. For an address inside the EU that is the end of it: the total at checkout is the final price and there is nothing to pay on arrival. A delivery to Norway or Switzerland is an export, so no EU VAT is charged and your invoice shows 0% VAT, but the price you pay does not change.

Dispatch and delivery times

We do not pick or pack at weekends or on Dutch public holidays, and sale periods are busier than usual.

Once your parcel is with UPS, the distance decides the rest. Parcels within the Netherlands and to neighbouring countries usually arrive within a few working days of dispatch; longer distances and islands take longer, and parcels to Norway and Switzerland spend extra time in customs clearance. Your tracking link is the most accurate estimate at any moment, because it comes from the carrier and updates as the parcel moves. Delays caused by weather, strikes or customs handling are outside our control, and if a parcel stalls we chase the carrier for you.

Tracking your parcel

Every order ships tracked. The shipping confirmation email has your tracking number and a link to the carrier. It can take up to a working day for the first carrier scan to appear, so an empty tracking page right after dispatch is normal.

Wrong address

Email info@paarline.com with your order number as soon as you notice. While the parcel is still with us we can change the address. Once the carrier has it, only the carrier can redirect it, and they may charge for that.

Tracking says delivered, but nothing arrived

Check with your neighbours and any agreed safe spot first, since carriers often leave parcels there without a clear note. If it is still missing, email us your order number and we open a case with the carrier.

Refused or uncollected parcels

If a parcel comes back because it was refused at the door or never collected, and you have not told us you are withdrawing, we refund the goods minus the return freight we actually paid to get them back. That applies everywhere, and it is clause 10 of our refund policy.

The full shipping terms

The binding terms for dispatch, delivery, customs and lost or damaged parcels are in our shipping policy. If anything on this page ever reads differently from that document, the policy is the one that counts. Returns are covered on our returns and exchanges page and in full in our refund policy.
